Description:
This 59-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow Immigrant Women Services Ottawa to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the development and implementation of a comprehensive sustainability strategy that is focused on fund development, and the creation of a strategic plan related to Human Resources management, to lead to greater organizational stability and sustainability. Initial supplemental funds supported the development of a competitive fundraising strategy. The March 2023 supplemental funding will be used to redesign the organizations fundraising strategy with a view to the post Covid 19 Pandemic reality, including through the development of a legacy giving program. Outcomes will be incorporated into future processes and procedures, further growing IWSO’s organizational capacity.
