Description:
Through this 9-month project, North Grenville Pride will develop a community-informed initiative to overcome key issues facing 2SLGBTQI+ communities in rural Ontario. This will be achieved by designing and developing the We All BeloNG training program to provide education about the 2SLGBTQI+ community to community members, developing a Train-the-Trainer program, and creating educational materials and resources. The project will engage the Rural Pride Collective to aid in designing and developing the training program and to be trained to deliver the training program. By the end of this project, North Grenville Pride will have supported a community-informed project to address key issues facing 2SLGBTQI+ communities and advance equality for 2SLGBTQI+ people in rural Ontario.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
