Description:
Through this 11-month project, Queer Yukon Society will develop community-informed solutions to key barriers and gaps facing 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. This will be achieved by improving 2SLGBTQIA+ access to reproductive healthcare in the Yukon Territory by increasing the availability of information, improving providers' capacity to provide informed care, and establishing sustainable partnerships and structures to promote access into the future.
At the end of this project, Queer Yukon Society will have equipped 2SLGBTQIA+ Yukoners and those who serve them with knowledge, tools, and support through cross-sector collaboration, as well as established a reproductive care coalition of equity-seeking groups in the Yukon to solidify the sustainability of this initiative.
