The project will help provide a clear structure and processes, and offer training to further understanding within Nelson Pride Society and its network. Nelson Pride will benefit from a defined direction and growth plan for increasing internal capacity to provide more opportunities for the community, which will lessen the burden on queer organizers who have traditionally funded events, taken on liability, and provided services without compensation.
