Description:
Through this 31-month project, Pride YMM Society aims to enhance the economic security and prosperity of trans women and nonbinary people. The project will achieve this by identifying participants’ life goals; fostering meaningful connections with experienced and affirming community members, and developing essential skills, experience, and leadership abilities to boost confidence and self-advocacy, both in the workplace and in life. The organization will create and support employment and leadership opportunities for trans women and non-binary people by offering mentorship, networking, and development opportunities. Additionally, the organization will actively engage with local employers to create safe, inclusive workplaces with affirming policies, physical spaces, procedures, and gender-affirming benefits. An external evaluator will be engaged to measure and assess the impact of the systemic change project, ensuring that goals and objectives are met effectively.
