Description:
Through this 20-month project, the Domestic Violence Association of NB Inc. will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address its internal capacity for operating as a professional nonprofit woman’s organization with a significant impact on addressing the issue of domestic intimate partner violence (DIPV) and supporting frontline services and survivors in NB, and build its capacity to oversee, govern, and make decisions under a new operational structure.
The project will include building a sustainable financial management strategy, strategic planning, and enhancing HR capacities, policies, and procedures. It will also build capacity around providing access to the learning and development opportunities that staff and board members require to meaningfully contribute to the organization, and to ensure alignment with the organization’s vision, mission, and values, best serve the target population, while applying a Gender-Based Analysis Plus lens.
