Description:
Through this 32-month project, Coverdale Centre for Women will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address strategic planning and leadership development. The project will include strategic and operational planning to better guide board members and staff, and the development and implementation of staff training modules to address gaps in staff training and improve staff confidence in their roles, leading to improved organizational abilities to advocate and care for clients.
With the supplemental funds and the extension provided in early 2026, the Coverdale Centre for Women will strengthen its organizational capacity through targeted training and leadership development and modernize its organizational identity through a comprehensive rebrand that refreshes its vision, mission, and core value. They will also deepen community insight by hosting engagement sessions along with sector partners and share findings to better respond to the community members they serve. Through this they will further advance Gender Equality.
