Adapting and Rethinking the Organization’s Growth for the Wellbeing of Women at Petites-Mains

Through this 32-month project, Petites-Mains will build its capacity to advance women’s equality. It will address its capacity to anticipate organizational change at a time when it is experiencing significant growth and to manage its operations more effectively. The project will include revising and updating the human resources policy and developing an action plan for employee wellbeing; creating a five-year transition plan for the organization’s management; and improving the team’s productivity through better, more effective internal communications. With the supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, Petites-Mains will put in place a sustainable approach to managing talent, establish clear succession and delegation processes, and strengthen its organizational and digital systems. Through this, they will further advance gender equality. Through this they will further advance gender equality.

The purpose of the Women’s Program is to advance equality for women in Canada by working to address or remove systemic barriers impeding women’s progress and advancement. The WP supports the Government of Canada’s goal of advancing gender equality in Canada. It is consistent with Government of Canada priorities related to economic prosperity, and supports Canada’s international commitments related to gender equality.
