Description:
Through this 21-month systemic change project, Pro-Choice Society of Lethbridge & Southern Alberta will scale Covid-19 Reproductive Rights Response to advance women’s economic security and prosperity. It will scale by focusing on geographical expansion, information dissemination, physician support, and educational outreach. To do so, the project will work to bolster the capacity of other Pro-Choice organizations, conduct network building activities, support physicians and healthcare providers through consultations and by facilitating training, and expand their educational outreach by building partnerships, public presentations, and community training sessions. By the end of the project the organization will have addressed healthcare providers' and volunteer organizations' lack of capacity while increasing information dissemination and service access for those in need by evaluating and strategizing intersecting factors that prevent women's full bodily autonomy
