Description:
Through this 33-month project, Fire and Flower will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address capacity gaps and needs to support its mission to provide outdoor-based rite of passage programming for girls and non-binary youth. The project will include curriculum enhancement and awareness, partnership and collaboration, staff training and human resources improvements, policy and planning development, and fund capacity development. With the supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026 Fire and Flower will embed structured community research into its operations, formalize an impact evaluation framework integrated into governance processes, and establish documented advocacy and volunteer mentorship systems. Through this, they will further advance Gender Equality.
