Through this 30-month project, the Fédération des femmes du Québec (FFQ) will help advance women’s economic security and prosperity through systemic change. The project will address the systemic barriers affecting women during their studies, specifically in women-dominated fields where internships are required for college or university graduation. The FFQ intends to assess internship conditions by collaborating with multiple actors and carry out a need analysis to provide recommendations. Accordingly, this project’s main activity is to support three stakeholders, from an education and awareness perspective, in implementing a strategy to improve women’s internship conditions in priority sectors through collaboration. An external evaluation will measure and assess the impact of this systemic change project.
