Description:
This 70-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: reviewing organizational policies and procedures; developing a human resources recruitment and retention strategy; reviewing program intake and assessment forms and staff training; and ensuring all documents are gender-sensitive and trauma-informed. Supplemental funding will be used to conduct staff training and development activities along with cultural supports provided by Elders and Knowledge Keepers. Ka Ni Kanichihk will complete an Impact Assessment of these activities to be utilized for future organizational priorities and activities.
