Description:
This 44-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the Ontario Native Women’s Association (ONWA) to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through strengthening capacity of Indigenous women and organizations across the province of Ontario by providing culturally-sensitive training and resources grounded by the wisdom of Indigenous women’s perspectives and knowledge. ONWA will build its leadership through diversifying its funding case, and building training and program delivery capacity.
