The CER is conducting a regulatory pilot to test a draft compliance verification process designed to assess proposed requirements in the Onshore Pipeline Regulations (OPR) relating to the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples. The CER is working with two regulated companies and two Indigenous participants to conduct two mock compliance verification activities (CVAs). The intent of this meeting is for the CER and the participating First Nation or Métis Government to interview the regulated company about documents submitted as part of the mock CVA.
