Description:
CANADA-PERU NAVAL STAFF TALKS (NST) The Deputy Commander of the Royal Canadian Navy will host the Peruvian Navy delegation at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Esquimalt. The intended hospitality programme includes light refreshments, two working lunches, and a hosted formal dinner with a modest provision of alcohol to meet international and reciprocation standards for an activity of this nature. Local ground transportation for the delegation will be provided by CFB Esquimalt as matter of expected international protocol, which will negate commercial rental fees and limit expenses to fuel only. Use of DND facilities has been maximized to reduce venue costs; however, contracted catered options for food service is required due to Base service constraints and importance to limit disruption to planned activities.
