Federated Search project is completed, Natural Resources Canada expanded the federated open data search to include open data from almost most of the thirteen jurisdictions thereby providing Canadians with access to open data. Nunavut will be completed at a later date when an open license is available.

Federated Search is progressing, data from Manitoba, Saskatchewan and NewfoundLand and Labrador are available on the Government of Canada's Open Data portal since December 2022. This means that open data from 10 out of 13 administrations can be accessed in a single location.
