The Open Data for Development (OD4D) project supported by IDRC surpassed its objectives in the number of OGP countries receiving technical support. The project strengthened the capacity of 30 government units or ministries. D4D.net was launched in late 2021 as an initiative of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). D4D.net is a global research alliance among 14 organizations that works to strengthen collaboration across a broad network of stakeholders by developing and mobilising the knowledge needed to advance the ethical use of data to address critical development challenges across the Global South. https://www.d4d.net/about
