The GC data quality framework was transformed into formal guidance and published as a draft on GCwiki and is going through final approvals. Through departmental consultations, federal institutions participated in the development of the framework to ensure it met the need of the public service. Work is underway to integrate the framework into the Guideline on Service and Digital. A new Guidance on Data Quality was published on Canada.ca to support the implementation of the Standard on Systems that Manage Information and Data. It provides advice on how departments can standardize their approach to data quality and strengthen data quality management.
