Status:
Complete
Evidence of progress:

The RCMP has begun publicly disclosing data and information to support increased transparency related to potential criminal activity. These disclosures are being made in a manner that complies with requirements governing the release of information about ongoing investigations. Work is ongoing to expand the scope and availability of data as quality, context, and disclosure requirements continue to be addressed.

NOTE: While the currently published Open Data set does not include data originating from PROS, it continues to fulfill the RCMP’s open data commitment. The data demonstrates the value of increased transparency related to criminal investigations and supports the rationale for making additional RCMP datasets publicly available.
