- Monitor Canadians' experiences with serious legal problems and enhance the Department of Justice Canada's understanding of effective responses using findings from the National Justice Survey and Serious Legal Problems in Canada Publish findings from the National Justice Survey and from Statistics Canada's Canadian Legal Problems Survey (CLPS), in user-friendly formats (for example, infographics or a simple dashboard). Use the National Justice Survey data to inform decision-making both by the Department of Justice Canada and by key external stakeholders.

As reported in our first update, two infographics have been published on the 2024-2025 National Justice Survey, presenting key findings on confidence in the Canadian Criminal Justice System and Confidence in the Canadian Youth Criminal Justice System.
The percentage of people who report being confident that the criminal justice system is fair and accessible to all people remained similar in 2023 and 2025.
The percentage of people who report being confident that the youth criminal justice system is fair and accessible to all people remained the same in 2023 and 2025.
Women are less likely than men to report being confident that the criminal justice system or the youth criminal justice system are fair and accessible to all people.
