The Targeted Investments in Indigenous Community Infrastructure dataset depicts infrastructure projects across Canada that are funded through Indigenous Services Canada (ISC). It contains data related to project category, description, status and beneficiary.
The dataset allows the Department to pinpoint and share information about individual infrastructure projects in Indigenous communities, in a proactive and transparent manner, to:
• Showcase where and how investments are carried out
• Demonstrate the Government’s commitment to improve the socio-economic conditions of Indigenous peoples and their communities.
Projects featured in this Indigenous community infrastructure investments dataset are updated on a quarterly basis.

Overview:
Each quarter, the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) publishes Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) statistics on Open Government Data Portal, including quarterly and annual LMIA data related to, but not limited to, requested and approved TFW positions, employment location, employment occupations, sectors, TFWP stream and temporary foreign workers by country of origin.
The TFWP does not collect data on the number of TFWs who are hired by an employer and have arrived in Canada. The decision to issue a work permit rests with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and not all positions on a positive LMIA result in …
Quarterly Usage Reports (QURs) provided to Public Service and Procurement Canada by suppliers on a quarterly basis, compiling and maintaining records on the provision of services to the federal government under contracts resulting from Standing Offers and/or Supply Arrangements.
Note: Blanks fields indicate that the supplier submitted a NIL report due to contracts not being issued to them under the identified method of supply during the specified reporting period.
Since 2016, under Guide BB of the Filing Manual, major CER-regulated pipeline companies are required to report their pipelines’ throughput and capacity data at key points every quarter. Oil and liquids pipelines report monthly data and natural gas pipelines report daily data. This dataset can be explored in interactive dashboard format: A look at pipeline flow and capacity. Throughput and capacity graphs can also be explored by individual pipeline in Pipeline Profiles. The dataset covers 2006 to present and updates every three months.
Temporary residents who are in Canada on a work permit in the observed calendar year. Datasets include Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) and International Mobility Program (IMP) work permit holders by year in which permit(s) became effective or with a valid permit on December 31st.
Please note that in these datasets, the figures have been suppressed or rounded to prevent the identification of individuals when the datasets are compiled and compared with other publicly available statistics. Values between 0 and 5 are shown as “--“ and all other values are rounded to the nearest multiple of 5. This may result …
Daily sea surface temperature and salinity observations have been carried out at several locations on the coast of British Columbia since the early part of the 20th century. Observations started at the Pacific Biological Station (Departure Bay) in 1914; 11 stations were added in the mid-1930s and several more in the 1960s. The number of stations reporting at any given time has varied as sampling has been discontinued at some stations and started or resumed at others.
Presently termed the British Columbia Shore Station Oceanographic Program (BCSOP), there are 12 active participating stations. Most of the stations are at lighthouses …
Report Volume Data
The report counts in this data set are broken down by activity sector, report type, the year and month of receipt, and reporting entity location.
The reporting entity location is represented by the forward sortation area (FSA) component of the Canadian postal code (i.e. the first three characters of the Canadian postal code, e.g. “K1P”) that designates the postal district where the reporting entity is located.
Protecting the Identity of Reporting Entities
By law, FINTRAC must protect the identity of the persons and entities that are required to submit financial transaction reports to the Centre under the …
Salmon escapement data constitute important corporate knowledge which must be adequately maintained and accessible. The Salmon Escapement Database (NuSEDS) is the DFO Pacific Region’s central database that stores individual spawner survey data records, spawner abundance estimates and the linkages between the two. Annual abundance estimates are maintained by population, as defined by freshwater location and run timing. Each population is referenced to the location of the stream mouth. The watershed-coding system provides unique stream identification and incorporates the natural organization, direction, and hierarchical nature of stream channels and their tributaries.
The NuSEDS database currently reports salmon spawning observations for 9100+ …
Fish health on British Columbia salmon farms is managed throughout the production cycle to maintain healthy fish populations and to identify and address disease occurrences as soon as they arise. Aquaculture licence conditions set out mandatory monitoring and reporting requirements to ensure any potential impacts are appropriately mitigated at salmon farms.
A central component of on-farm fish health management is a Fish Health Management Plan (FHMP). FHMPs are approved by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) and describe the fish health principles that the licensee must follow to maintain fish health and biosecurity at the farm.
Both DFO and aquaculture companies …
