This document provides Canadians with an annual summary of selected aviation safety data. The TSB gathers and uses this data during the course of our investigations to analyse safety deficiencies and identify risks in the Canadian transportation system. At the end of the year, an annual summary is produced and published as open information.
This dataset provides statistics on download counts, visitors, as well as the increase of participation of Government of Canada departments and agencies in supplying more open datasets. All statistics presented, unless otherwise noted, are as of June 18, 2013 to the end of the previous month.
This dataset provides information on Benefits Amounts for Income Supplement and the Allowances according to income level and marital status. This is updated on a quarterly basis. The following tables of amounts will provide you with the amount of your monthly benefit, which will be based on your age, income level and marital status. The dataset is updated for October - December 2023 quarter.
Monthly communication reports disclose prescribed details regarding "oral and arranged" communications between lobbyists and Designated Public Office Holders (DPOH). This dataset contains all monthly communication reports filed with the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying. These monthly communication reports were disclosed by registrants under the Lobbying Act, which came into force on July 2, 2008. A lobbying registration is required when a paid individual communicates with federal public office holders in respect of certain subject matter, either on behalf of their employer or a client. This dataset contains all lobbying registrations filed to the Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists between the dates January 31, 1996 and June 30, 2008 under the Lobbyists Registration Act, and the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying from July 2, 2008 onward under the Lobbying Act. The Canada Energy Regulator produces a table showing conditions from projects approved since 2010. This table lists conditions by company and by specific approval number. It also shows the current status of each condition. The conditions dataset is updated daily. This dataset is used in the Conditions on Energy Projects visualization tool on the Canada Energy Regulator website. The source code for the visualization tool is also available.
The Vehicle Recalls Database is used by Transport Canada's Defect Investigations and Recalls Division to record and publish recalls pertaining to vehicles, tires, and child car seats. Data set includes all recalls in the last 60 days.
The Payments in Lieu of Taxes Program is administered by Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Every year more than $560 million is distributed to approximately 1,100 taxing authorities where property owned by federal departments is situated. Payments made under the Payments in Lieu of Taxes Act are based on the principle of fairness respecting both the taxing authorities and the federal government and are equitable in comparison to those made by other property owners. The Air Cargo Security (ACS) Program uses a secure supply chain approach, which helps to reduce bottlenecks at airports and keeps air cargo free from tampering while being handled at different stages of its journey. Businesses that want to join the program go through an application process which involves several stages. Once approved, participants are required to meet the program’s high security standards for air cargo. This dataset is the list of approved Air Cargo Security Program members.
The Marine Technical Review Board (MTRB) has been created under the CSA 2001 to review applications for equivalencies to safety requirements or exemptions from non-safety ones. These applications concern individual Canadian vessels or the issuance of Canadian maritime documents to persons.
