Maintenance
We are performing scheduled maintenance from 8:00am to 12:00pm, Monday, December 4th, Eastern time. The file contains one record for every offender serving a sentence of two years or more under Correctional Services of Canada (CSC) jurisdiction. The data were extracted from the Offender Management System (OMS) and reflects the status and attributes of offenders as of the year end.
All available bathymetry and related information for Tucker Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 9 of the Atlas, Middle Ordovician to Lower Devonian Strata of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 24, Red River Isopach and Lithofacies. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
All available bathymetry and related information for Dakin Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary.
For the past 30 years, the Conference of Defence Associations (CDA) Institute has awarded each year the Vimy Award to exceptional Canadians to recognize their efforts in the quest for peace and democratic values. The 2023 Vimy Award goes to Jacqueline O’Neill, Canada's Ambassador for Women, Peace and Security for her remarkable contribution to democracy, security and defence!
In this article, we dive into the award’s significance. We also showcase the Ambassador’s pivotal role as a thought leader driving progress for the women, peace, and security agenda within diverse organizations for Global Affairs Canada (GAC).
This data set comprises the bedrock geology of Alberta in geographic information systems (GIS) format. The GIS coverage was originally prepared by digitizing Map 027, 1972, Alberta Geological Survey, Alberta Research Council. Revisions since 1972 have incorporated new mapping data from work by the Alberta Geological Survey and the Geological Survey of Canada, and by the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists through the contribution of its membership to the Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. The coverage shows the formation and geologic age of the bedrock subcrop, as well as the nature of the contacts between formations. GIS …
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 18 of the Atlas, Jurassic and Lowermost Cretaceous Strata of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 26, Jurassic Isopach. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
The wages on the Job Bank website are specific to an occupation and provide information on the earnings of workers at the regional level. The 3-year Employment Outlooks consist of a rating (very good, good, moderate, limited or very limited) of the employment prospects as well as a narrative text that provides an assessment of the main forecast indicators, recent statistics, and value-added regional observations. Employment Outlooks are developed for each detailed occupation in all provinces, territories and economic regions of Canada, where data permits. They are updated annually.
The Employment Outlooks developed until the 2015-2017 period were assessed on the basis of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2006, and include up to 520 occupations.

The Work-Sharing (WS) Program is an adjustment program through Employment Insurance (EI) involving employers, employees and Service Canada. It is designed to help employers and employees avoid layoffs when there is a temporary reduction in the normal level of business activity that is beyond the control of the employer.
Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) has compiled data on various metrics related to WS applications and agreements. We have also archived statistics related to the WS special measures for employers affected by COVID-19.
