AAFC has been conducting the Strategic Issues Survey, a survey of producers, since 2007. The research is designed to provide insight into the views of producers on current agricultural issues in Canada and on priorities and policies that affect the agriculture and agri-food sector. The survey builds on tracking questions from previous waves to note trends over time but also provides insights on new and evolving areas of interest to AAFC. This wave of research includes a focus on sustainability, along with other upcoming priorities. Introduction
This reference data provides a standard list of values for all Canadian provinces and territories. The list reflects Canada’s 13 major political units. There are many coding systems for Canadian provinces and territories. The data standard shows the relationships among the recommended code and other common codes.
Purpose
This list is intended to standardize the way Canadian provinces and territories are described in datasets to enable data interoperability and improve data quality.
Not included in this standard are previous names, abbreviations and codes for provinces and territories. When changes occur in the future, version history will be maintained.

The 3-year Employment Outlooks consist of a rating (very good, good, moderate, limited or very limited) of the employment prospects as well as a narrative text that provides an assessment of the main forecast indicators, recent statistics, and value-added regional observations. Employment Outlooks are developed for each detailed occupation in all provinces, territories and economic regions of Canada, where data permits. They are updated annually.
The Employment Outlooks developed until the 2015-2017 period were assessed on the basis of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2006, and include up to 520 occupations.

The wages on the Job Bank website are specific to an occupation and provide information on the earnings of workers at the regional level. Wages for most occupations are also provided at the national and provincial level. In Canada, all jobs are associated with one specific occupational grouping which is determined by the National Occupational Classification. For most occupations, a minimum, median and maximum wage estimates are displayed. They are update annually.

A lobbying registration is required when a paid individual communicates with federal public office holders in respect of certain subject matter, either on behalf of their employer or a client. This dataset contains all lobbying registrations filed to the Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists between the dates January 31, 1996 and June 30, 2008 under the Lobbyists Registration Act, and the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying from July 2, 2008 onward under the Lobbying Act. Monthly communication reports disclose prescribed details regarding "oral and arranged" communications between lobbyists and Designated Public Office Holders (DPOH). This dataset contains all monthly communication reports filed with the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying. These monthly communication reports were disclosed by registrants under the Lobbying Act, which came into force on July 2, 2008. The dataset provides a primary file as well as secondary files in CSV format allowing for one to many relationships for some data elements collected within a monthly communication report. The Canada Energy Regulator produces a table showing conditions from projects approved since 2010. This table lists conditions by company and by specific approval number. It also shows the current status of each condition. The conditions dataset is updated daily. This dataset is used in the Conditions on Energy Projects visualization tool on the Canada Energy Regulator website. The source code for the visualization tool is also available.
