Correctional Service of Canada’s (CSC) 2023-2027 Departmental Sustainable Development Strategy (DSDS), our ninth DSDS since 1997, commits once more to numerous energy, water and waste reduction measures that demonstrate departmental ownership to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This latest DSDS remains in line with the previous eight voluntary DSDS that CSC implemented over the last decades.
The Departmental Results Report provides a snapshot of Correctional Service Canada's performance and achievements over the 2022to 2023 fiscal year.

The Departmental Plan and Departmental Results Report (DRR) are prepared annually by all federal departments and agencies.
They are designed to reflect the government's citizen-focused agenda by identifying the benefits the department provides to Canadians and the real value derived for each taxpayer dollar spent.
DRRs are tabled in the fall, usually coinciding with the reopening of Parliament. The DRR describes the department's performance against the priorities listed in the previous Departmental Plan. DRF Indicator 4.1.1 is included in the report - Number of Canadians who use the department’s travel outreach products, including digital initiatives.
