In accordance with the Access to Information Act, the government proactively publishes the package of question period notes that were prepared by a government institution for the minister and that were in use on the last sitting day in June and December.
The question period notes may be partially or fully redacted in accordance with the legislation; for example, if the notes contain information related to national security or personal information.
In accordance with the Access to Information Act, the government proactively publishes titles and reference numbers of memoranda received by ministers and deputy heads.
Briefing note titles may be partially or fully redacted in accordance with the legislation; for example, if the titles contain information related to national security, personal information, or Cabinet confidences. Learn more about exemptions and exclusions.
If you find a title of interest, you may make an access to information request in order to obtain the records.
All institutions subject to the Access to Information Act are required to post summaries of completed access to information (ATI) requests within thirty calendar days after the end of each month.
Download a dataset of Completed Access to Information Request Summaries from federal institutions below.
Requests focusing on personal information or third-party proprietary information are not included in these datasets. Not all federal institutions post their Completed Access to Information Request Summaries on the Open Government Portal and such information is not captured in the datasets.
In addition to the downloadable dataset, a link is available below as a resource …

AVHRR Pathfinder version 5.3 Level 3C night Sea Surface Temperature (SST) was acquired from NOAA at 4 km spatial resolution. The monthly mean value at all pixels was calculated for individual years, then all years were combined to produce final maps of monthly mean and monthly standard deviation of SST, and the number of occurrences of each pixel over the period of observation. The quality level of all satellite observations was also acquired with this dataset, and used to remove any pixels with a quality level lower than 4. Further, pixels with fewer than two occurrences over the period 1990-2020 …

MODIS-Aqua night long-wave Sea Surface Temperature (SST) images were acquired from the NASA Ocean Biology Processing Group at processing Level-2 (version 2018), 1-km resolution, spanning the period 2003-01-01 to 2020-12-31. Image pixels were aligned and mapped to a regular grid using the SeaDAS program, retaining all pixels with a quality level of ‘1’ or lower, which is recommended for scientific analysis. The monthly mean value at all pixels was calculated for individual years, and used to produce maps of the monthly climatological mean and standard deviation of SST. Additionally, the number of occurrences of valid data at each pixel over …
The Global Ensemble Wave Prediction System (GEWPS) uses the third generation spectral wave model WaveWatch III® (WW3) to arrive at probabilistic predictions of wave elements from the current day out to 16 days into the future. The probabilistic predictions are based on 20 ensemble members and a control member that are forced by the 10 meters winds from the Global Ensemble Prediction System (GEPS). The GEPS forecast is a coupled atmosphere-ice-ocean model, its sea ice forecast is used by the GEWPS to dampen or suppress wave growth in areas covered respectively with 25% to 75% and more than 75% ice. …
