Alberta Geological Survey Bulletin 64 documents 190 metallic mineral occurrences. We have digitized these occurrences into GIS format as a point shapefile. The description of these 190 metallic mineral occurrences on the exposed Precambrian Shield of northeast Alberta provides models for mineral deposition, establishes exploration targets and gives insights into the economic potential of the mineral showings. Commodities include gold, uranium, base metals and rare-earth elements. Among these occurrences, we have investigated 20 of them sufficiently, and they are of sufficient exploration importance to be classified as a mineral showing.
We publish Canada’s greenhouse gas (GHG) and air pollutant emissions projections each year.
The GHG emissions projections help us measure progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and combating climate change. GHG emissions projections are presented for a few scenarios. The air pollutant projections reflect our action to reduce air pollution.
Description of site contents:
Because of the large number of tables, results are presented in folders and sub-folders. Below is a description of the folder structure:
• currentprojectionsactuelles: This folder includes our most recent projections as reported in Canada's Greenhouse Gas and Air Pollutant Emissions Projections (2023) (https://www.canada.ca/en/environment-climate-change/services/climate-change/greenhouse-gas-emissions/projections.html).

The Single Line Hydrography Network (SLNET) contains all captured single line representations of hydrographic features. In addition, single line representations of polygonal features and single line arbitrary network connectors are in the file.
The Assistant Deputy Minister Human Resources-Civilian (ADM HR-Civ) is the functional authority and service provider for civilian human resources for the Department of National Defence. This data describes the number of civilian employees at National Defence by regions throughout Canada.
The Assistant Deputy Minister of Human Ressources for civilians (ADM (HR-Civ)) is the functional authority and service provider for civilian human resources for the Department of National Defence. This dataset provided by ADM (HR-Civ), pertains to the distribution of tenure for civilian employees at National Defence.
All available bathymetry and related information for Laurier Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
Special licences are used in situations where a species (e.g, Elk) could not withstand the hunting pressure of a general season, or where they are need to meet a specific management goal (e.g., the goal in the antlered mule deer draw areas is to develop and maintain a more balanced age structure in the herd). A special licence allows a hunter to hunt the type of big game animal (e.g., antlerless elk) in the area (a WMU, a group of WMUs, or a portion of one or more WMUs) specified on the licence. This dataset displays the special licence boundaries …
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 7 of the Atlas, Paleographic Evolution of the Cratonic Platform - Cambrian to Triassic, Figure 9, Devonian Woodbend/Duperow (DM4) Paleogeography. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
This dataset provides statistics on download counts, visitors, as well as the increase of participation of Government of Canada departments and agencies in supplying more open datasets. All statistics presented, unless otherwise noted, are as of June 18, 2013 to the end of the previous month.
This GIS dataset depicts the surficial geology of the George Lake area (NTS84D/SE) (polygon features). The data are created in geodatabase format and output for public distribution in shapefile format.
