This view holds administrative areas for historic mining divisions that were once used in the Province of British Columbia with the addition of mining division codes. These boundaries are no longer used for current administration; however, they are necessary when submitting the title page for your Technical Work Report: more information on ARIS Reports (https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/industry/mineral-exploration-mining/british-columbia-geological-survey/assessmentreports/submissionmineral). They can also be used to reference historical records.
The spatial representation for a Timber Supply Area or TSA Supply Block: A Timber Supply Area is a designated area established by the Ministry in order to practice sound, integrated, resource management principles to improve the allowable annual cuts. TSAs were originally defined by an established pattern of wood flow from management units to the primary timber-using industries. They are the primary unit for allowable annual cut (AAC) determination. A TSA Supply Block is a designated area within the TSA where the Ministry approves the allowable annual cuts
The Nova Scotia Road Network (NSRN) is the authoritative source for road centerlines in the province. This 3D coverage contains addressed roads and non-addressed roads and has several descriptive attributes to define a roadway such as number of lanes, surface type, and road class. The NSRN is used to contribute the Nova Scotia portion of the federal National Road Network (NRN). The NSCAF Community Boundaries dataset includes the boundary for each Nova Scotia civic community. These boundaries were defined in consultation with Nova Scotia municipalities with input from municipal councilors, Emergency Health Services (Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness), local fire and police departments, among others.
