Tables show data on federal student aid from the Canada Student Financial Assistance Program. The data reports only on aid in the provinces and territory who take part in the program.
Note:
- data are from the 2009 to 2010 to the 2019 to 2020 academic year (August 1 of the current year to July 31 of the next)
- figures may not add up to the total as some cells are blocked due to privacy, and due to rounding
- Unless otherwise stated, tables include both full-time and part-time students
The authorities and expenditures data presented in the GC InfoBase principally correspond to two published reports: the Public Accounts of Canada and tabled expenditure authorities (Main Estimates and the Supplementary Estimates). The figures contained in the following datasets generally match those of those of the official reports. Small differences in the aggregate totals may arise due to rounding. In cases where machinery of government changes (such as creating or merging of organizations, or changes to their responsibilities) have occurred, the GC InfoBase datasets may be adjusted to present a more coherent time series.

This dataset is associated with the article authored by Marine Pacé, Benjamin Gadet, Julien Beguin, Yves Bergeron et David Paré entitled " Drivers of boreal tree growth and stand opening in boreal forest: the case of jack pine on sandy soils ". It comprises 37 plots including 20 plots near the locality of La Sarre (48° 48’ N; 79° 12’ W) and 17 plots near the locality of Chibougamau (49° 53’ N; 74° 20’ W). It includes data on forest stands (DBH, height, age), permanent environmental conditions (surface deposits, slope, granulometry and chemical characteristics of the C horizon), and non …
Motion-detection cameras are a cost-effective and non-invasive tool used in Yoho National Park for sampling mammal populations and estimating species occurrence. Occupancy modelling, which uses detection/non-detection data from cameras, provides a useful and flexible framework for population trend analyses. Data are collected throughout the year across Yoho National Park to determine change in the distribution of key animal populations as well as supporting demographic predictions to better inform management.

This dataset is associated with the article authored by Marine Pacé, David Paré, Nicole Fenton and Yves Bergeron entitled "Effect of lichen, Sphagnum spp. and feather moss leachates on jack pine and black spruce growth ". It includes growth surveys of jack pine and black spruce in greenhouse at different stages of development (0-6 month-old and 2 year-old seedlings). Seedlings were subjected to different types of leachates: jack pine was subjected to control (bare soil), feather moss and lichen leachates; black spruce was subjected to control (bare soil), feather moss and Sphagnum spp. leachates. The donor species (feather mosses, lichens, …
This database contains the data set described in Andrieux B. et al. (in preparation) about soil organic carbon bioreactivity in Quebec's spruce feathermoss forests. The soil carbon bioreactivity has been evaluated with long-term lab incubations. Carbon density in different soil functional reservoirs is available at the plot scale (n = 72): total C stock in the O layer (FH horizon), total C stock in the mineral soil (0 to 35 cm), total bioreactive C stock, total acid-insoluble C stock. Ancillary biophysical data includes climate variables, species occurrences in the moss mat, time since fire, and some soil properties.
