All available bathymetry and related information for Kinky Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
This GIS dataset depicts the surficial geology of NTS map area 84O south (line features). The data were created in geodatabase format and output for public distribution in shapefile format. The map was prepared by airphoto interpretation of 1:60 000-scale images flown in 1994. There was no ground-truthing.
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 9 of the Atlas, Middle Ordovician to Lower Devonian Strata of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 23, Winnipeg Isopach and Lithofacies. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 7 of the Atlas, Paleographic Evolution of the Cratonic Platform - Cambrian to Triassic, Figure 13, Permian (PT1) Paleogeography.
This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 8 of the Atlas, Middle Cambrian to Lower Ordovician Strata of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 20d, Middle Cambrian Lithology Carbonates. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.

The dataset contains the results of analyses of surface water samples collected by AGS in the summer of 1999. Three lakes, three creeks, one stream and two rivers were sampled as part of a water sampling program carried out by AGS in the Athabasca Oil Sands in-situ area of Alberta. This area extends from approximately 55.34 degrees north latitude to 55.96 degrees north latitude, and 110.5 degrees west longitude to 111.8 degrees west longitude. The datum is NAD83. The dataset contains information on laboratory measured pH and conductivity, major, minor and trace element concentrations, as well as stable isotope ratio …
