The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 10 of the Atlas, Devonian Elk Point Group of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 7, Distribution of Lower Givetian Strata. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
All available bathymetry and related information for Laurier Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
The following tables contain data on administrative monetary penalties (AMPs) issued by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) as part of compliance actions, as permitted under the Nuclear Safety and Control Act. In the current tables, which contains details on companies and individuals, data more than two years old is removed as per CNSC policy in conjunction with the annual update to the CSNC’s Regulatory actions Web page (https://www.cnsc-ccsn.gc.ca/eng/acts-and-regulations/regulatory-action/index.cfm). The historical dataset does not contain this identifying information, and serves to illustrate trends in penalties issued over the longer term.

To achieve these objectives, 1500 telephone interviews were conducted with Canadians aged …

The study contained four different levels of disturbance treatment (defoliated, logged, defoliated and logged, and undisturbed controls). Each level of treatment was replicated six times. The database includes information on the FH layer and on the top 0-15cm mineral …
