The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 13 of the Atlas, Devonian Wabamun Group of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 1, Wabamun Basins, Arches and Shelves. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
All available bathymetry and related information for Star Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
This is a GIS dataset containing digitized and attributed line features from scanned Alberta Geological Survey Maps 201, 202, 203 and 204. The data show the surficial geology (linear landforms) of the Calgary urban area (NTS areas 82O/01, 82P/04, 82J/16 and 82I/13). Features shown on the maps include fresh and buried scarps, minor traverse ridges, streamlined glacial landforms and buried valleys . The data from the four maps are presented in a single line layer.
This GIS dataset is a GIS version of AGS Map 150, Sheets 1 - 6, as mapped at 1:250,000-scale by Bayrock and Reimchen. Digitizing was originally done by Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration (PFRA). The data were supplied to AGS by PFRA in individual map sheets, in Arc/Info coverage format. Data were subsequently checked and edge-matched to create a single polygon coverage. Some rubber-sheeting and other edits were done during the checking and correction process.
PCS Regional Parks contains the approved boundary of regional parks in Saskatchewan under The Regional Parks Act, 2013. These boundaries are maintained by the Government of Saskatchewan on behalf of the regional park authorities.
PCS Regional Parks contains the approved boundary of all regional parks in Saskatchewan. These boundaries, maintained by the Government of Saskatchewan on behalf of the regional park authorities, reflect the descriptions in the originating Order in Council (OC) or amending Minister's Order (MO) signed under the Regional Parks Act, 2013. This feature class is the revised version of "Parks_Regional" following a significant schema update completed in …
This dataset represents the digital compilation of the Mineral Assessment Airborne surveys of the Province of Saskatchewan.
This dataset represents the digital compilation of the Mineral Assessment Airborne surveys of the Province of Saskatchewan. This data shows Mineral Assessment Work Catalogue: Outlines of areas and descriptions of work submitted for mineral assessment credits (Airborne surveys). This is an ongoing assemblage of mineral assessment airborne surveys. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution.**Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced …
The Ministry of Environment is responsible for Hazardous Substance and Waste Dangerous Goods Storage in Saskatchewan.
Storing hazardous materials and waste dangerous goods in accordance with the Hazardous Substances and Waste Dangerous Goods Regulations (HSWDG), helps to avoid environmental impacts or risk to human health. To minimize these risks, the regulations ensure storage facilities are constructed, operated and decommissioned properly. The Ministry of Environment must approve the construction, alteration or expansion of a facility to handle hazardous substances or waste dangerous goods. All hazardous substance storage facilities require construction and operating approvals. Owners also require an approval from the Ministry …
In 2014, the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) initiated a Play-Based Regulation (PBR) pilot project as a step towards implementation of the Unconventional Regulatory Framework. One of the goals of the PBR pilot is to encourage companies in the unconventional play area to work together on plans for surface development to minimize the numbers of facilities and surface impacts. This dataset is one of a series created using earth observation imagery to assess surface change caused by energy exploration. The PBR area extends from Twp. 52, Rge. 7, W 5th Mer. to Twp. 70, Rge. 5, W 6th Mer., covering the …

This point layer displays the location of COVID-19 and flu vaccine providers within the province of Manitoba.
This point layer displays the location of COVID-19 and flu vaccine providers within the province of Manitoba. Vaccination sites are symbolized by their provider type, indicating whether the location is a pharmacy, medical clinic, provincial vaccine clinic, etc. Other information available for each site includes provider name, whether they are accepting appointments, address, and any special notes or restrictions on the location. This data is populated by Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living. This layer is the data behind the Manitoba COVID-19 & …
