The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 8 of the Atlas, Middle Cambrian to Lower Ordovician Strata of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 21d, Upper Cambrian - Lower Ordovician Lithology Carbonates. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by …
The rules and principles governing hospitality are outlined in the Policies for Ministers' Offices and in Treasury Board’s Directive on Travel, Hospitality, Conference and Event Expenditures. This dataset consolidates all the Hospitality Expense reports submitted by federal institutions.
This GIS dataset depicts the surficial geology of the NTS map area 84C Northeast ( line features). The data are created in ArcInfo format and output for public distribution in Arc export (E00) and shapefile formats.
All available bathymetry and related information for Smoke Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.

All institutions subject to the Access to Information Act are required to post summaries of completed access to information (ATI) requests within thirty calendar days after the end of each month.
Download a dataset of Completed Access to Information Request Summaries from federal institutions below.
Requests focusing on personal information or third-party proprietary information are not included in these datasets. Not all federal institutions post their Completed Access to Information Request Summaries on the Open Government Portal and such information is not captured in the datasets.

This GIS dataset depicts the surficial geology of the Lesser Slave River area (NTS 83O/SE) (GIS data, line features). The data were created in geodatabase format and output for public distribution in shapefile format. These data comprise the line features of Alberta Geological Survey Map 553, Surficial Geology of the Lesser Slave River Area (NTS 83O/SE) (GIS data, line features).

Alberta Geological Survey created a coal and coalbed methane (CBM) database to capture and manage CBM data. The database compiles different sources and contains information on 7923 wells (15,200 formation picks, 37,357 coal picks, 495 coal analyses and 363 vitrinite reflectance measurements). From this parent dataset, individual coal zone was evaluated. This record describes the Drumheller Coal Zone's calculated gas in place in Bcf/section.
