Data on freezing and thawing depths in road pavements managed by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTMD). Since the winter period 2008-2009, these data have been calculated using temperature measurements recorded by road weather stations located on the Quebec road network. In particular, these stations are equipped with a 3.0 m long probe to measure the hourly average temperature at various levels in the roadway. Average values for freezing and thawing depth are then calculated on a daily basis. Consider that the data is specific to the location and date of measurement only. Any interpretation of the continuity …<span class="fa fa-language text-muted mrgn-lft-sm" title="This third party metadata element has been translated using an automated translation tool. The classified network (Highway, National, Regional, Collector, Local 1-2-3, Access to resources, Access to resources and isolated localities) whose management is the responsibility of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTMD). Some roads are under federal management or in a public-private partnership (PPP). The road network is inventoried according to the MTMD linear reference system. The linear reference is expressed under the acronym RTSS (Route, Section, Sub-route). The inventoried roads are composed of a 14-character alphanumeric code and an associated measure called chaining (distance measured in meters). An inventoried route will therefore have a start chain (always 0) and …<span class="fa fa-language text-muted mrgn-lft-sm" title="This third party metadata element has been translated using an automated translation tool. Polygons representing priority areas to be greened within the City of Montreal to reduce the impacts of heat waves. Three priority levels were defined according to a methodology that sought to meet the following 5 objectives: 1. Reducing Montreal's vulnerability to heat waves 2. Decrease the area of heat islands 3. Increase the canopy index in the most tree-deficient areas 4. Reducing the impacts of heat waves on the most sensitive groups 5. Greening living environments as a priority (residential and community sectors) This layer will be used to monitor the evolution of one of the eight indicators of the …<span class="fa fa-language text-muted mrgn-lft-sm" title="This third party metadata element has been translated using an automated translation tool. Modeled data showing the likely distribution of sea otters. CRIMS is a legacy dataset of BC coastal resource data that was acquired in a systematic and synoptic manner from 1979 and was intermittently updated throughout the years. Resource information was collected in nine study areas using a peer-reviewed provincial Resource Information Standards Committee consisting of DFO Fishery Officers, First Nations, and other subject matter experts. There are currently no plans to update this legacy data.
The area of Crown land disturbance for applications falling within a Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTI) road allowance. The BC Energy Regulator issues cutting permits for any new Crown land disturbance within MOTI unconstructed road allowances. The Regulator does not issue land tenure over MOTI right of ways. This dataset contains polygon features for proposed applications collected through the Regulator's Application Management System (AMS). This dataset is updated nightly.
