This dataset is a GIS version of the surficial geology drumlin features for the Fort Chipewyan area, Alberta (NTS74L), as mapped at 1:250,000 scale by L.A Bayrock (Alberta Geological Survey Map 141).
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 8 of the Atlas, Middle Cambrian to Lower Ordovician Strata of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 19, Cambrian and Lower Ordovician Isopach. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
This GIS dataset depicts the surficial geology of the NTS map area 84L northeast ( line features). The data are created in ArcInfo format and output for public distribution in Arc export (E00) and shapefile formats.
This dataset provides the point locations of horse bands as they were observed during aerial surveys in 2019 and 2021. Each Equine Management Zone is surveyed once per year using helicopter and horses observed on the landscape are reported. Data is stored in file geodatabase, feature class format with associated attributes, meaning each point has a number of horses observed and age class. This dataset simply reports the horses counted on the landscape at one snapshot in time. This data also depicts the flight track flown during the 2019 and 2021 aerial minimum counts. Surveys are flown by helicopter once …
This GIS dataset depicts the surficial geology of the NTS map area 84N southwest ( line features). The data are created in ArcInfo format and output for public distribution in Arc export (E00) and shapefile formats.
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 15 of the Atlas, Permian Strata of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 14, Permian Isopach and Lithofacies. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 16 of the Atlas, Triassic Strata of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 27, Halfway-Doig Isopach and Lithofacies. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
All available bathymetry and related information for Burnstick Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.

The Community And Social Services Delivery Regions dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the service delivery regions established for the Ministry of Community and Social Services. Community and Social Services delivers services and supports to Albertans in a complex and interconnected environment of substantial change, both externally and internally. Externally, a diverse population, an economic downturn, and relationships with families and stakeholders affect how the department conducts its business. Internally, the department continues to transform the way it supports Albertans through a person-centred, integrated service delivery model that recognizes the unique circumstances, experiences and strengths of individuals …
