These structure, isopach and zero edge files are part of a series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project.
The series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project have been produced using 2 km equi-spaced modified grids generated from Golden Software’s Surfer 9 kriging algorithm. The dataset used to produce each of the maps in this series was created using data from several projects completed by the Ministry (Christopher, 2003; Saskatchewan Industry and Resources et al., 2004; Kreis et al., 2004; Marsh and Heinemann, 2006; Saskatchewan …
All available bathymetry and related information for Mud Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
All available bathymetry and related information for Star Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary.
All available bathymetry and related information for Gull Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary.
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 13 of the Atlas, Devonian Wabamun Group of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 17, Normandville Carbonate Isopach. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
This GIS dataset is a GIS version of AGS Map 150, Sheets 1 - 6, as mapped at 1:250,000-scale by Bayrock and Reimchen. Digitizing was originally done by Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration (PFRA). The data were supplied to AGS by PFRA in individual map sheets, in Arc/Info coverage format. Data were subsequently checked and edge-matched to create a single polygon coverage. Some rubber-sheeting and other edits were done during the checking and correction process.
HIGHWAY_OFFICIAL provides the LRS based geospatial information of Provincial and National Highways System in Saskatchewan. It is one of the base layer used to create "Roadseg" layer for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Netw
HIGHWAYOFFICIAL consists of provincial and national highways system in Saskatchewan maintained by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure (MHI). This data layer is based on the Linear Reference System (LRS) concepts. KMFROM and KM_TO fields store the start point and the end point at Kilometer information of the line segment. Unique Identifiers (RoadName & NID) are associated with each line segment. The …
In 2014, the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) initiated a Play-Based Regulation (PBR) pilot project as a step towards implementation of the Unconventional Regulatory Framework. One of the goals of the PBR pilot is to encourage companies in the unconventional play area to work together on plans for surface development to minimize the numbers of facilities and surface impacts. This dataset is one of a series created using earth observation imagery to assess surface change caused by energy exploration. The PBR area extends from Twp. 52, Rge. 7, W 5th Mer. to Twp. 70, Rge. 5, W 6th Mer., covering the …
Collection of interactive web maps illustrating the locations of current Drinking Water Advisories issued for Public (PWS) and Semi-Public (SPWS) Water Systems in Manitoba.
Collection of interactive web maps illustrating the locations of current Drinking Water Advisories (Boil Water Advisories (BWA), Water Quality Advisories (WQA), and Drinking Water Avoidance Advisories (DWAA)) issued for Public (PWS) and Semi-Public (SPWS) Water Systems in Manitoba. Seasonal water systems are displayed only during the Summer Season - May 1st to October 31st. Note: an "Info" tab is included in this application for users accessing it from outside of the Office of Drinking Water website. …
This is a GIS dataset containing digitized and attributed line features from scanned Alberta Geological Survey Maps 201, 202, 203 and 204. The data show the surficial geology (linear landforms) of the Calgary urban area (NTS areas 82O/01, 82P/04, 82J/16 and 82I/13). Features shown on the maps include fresh and buried scarps, minor traverse ridges, streamlined glacial landforms and buried valleys . The data from the four maps are presented in a single line layer.
