The data represent the locations of thalwegs (paleo-channels) incised in the bedrock surface. Segments of three major buried valleys are present: the Muskwa Valley, the Red Earth Valley and Gods Valley in the northeastern portion of the area.
All available bathymetry and related information for Minnie Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.

The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 10 of the Atlas, Devonian Elk Point Group of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 2, Pre-Devonian Paleotopographic Features. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
This dataset is part of the three-dimensional (3-D) hydrostratigraphic model of the Sylvan Lake sub-basin in the Edmonton-Calgary Corridor, central Alberta. It represents the structure top of the Scollard Formation in the Sylvan Lake sub-basin. Bedrock units included in the Sylvan Lake sub-basin model are derived from the Geological Framework of Alberta, a regional geological model of the province. The Top of Scollard Formation, provided by the Geological Framework of Alberta, was clipped to the Sylvan Lake sub-basin model domain for integration into a multi-layer hydrostratigraphic model. This dataset supplements Alberta Geological Survey (AGS) Open File Report 2014-10, which includes …
The Ontario Forest Biomonitoring Network (OFBN) monitors the health of mixed hardwood forests across southern and central Ontario. The data set includes: * Individual Tree Data: Decline Index and other measurements of visual stress symptoms of each tree within 111 plots * Decline Index: The Decline Index is a weighted average of tree stress symptoms (percent dead branches, percent slight or strong chlorosis (pale green-yellow leaves) and percent undersized leaves). Averaged for hardwood trees found within each of the 111 plots in each year. * Invasive Plant Species Presence Data * Salamander Data: numbers of individuals of salamander and other …
This GIS dataset depicts the bedrock topography of NTS map area 84M (line features). The data are created in ArcGIS and output for public distribution in shapefile formats.
