Once these technical issues are resolved, we will pursue those regular updates of the dataset.
These lands help preserve Nova Scotia’s natural values through a blend of legislation, ownership and management. Included here are: National Parks, National Wildlife Areas, Provincial Wilderness Areas, Provincial Nature Reserves, selected Provincial Parks and selected land trust properties and easements. Seed Planning Zone (SPZ) geometry is comprised of geographic areas of the province that are characterized by common ecological and genetic attributes for a given forest tree species. SPZ's are used for seedlot registration, seed planning, seed transfer and seedlot selection for reforestation. The geometry can be joined to the SEEDPLANZONE table using SEEDPLANZONE_ID to determine if the SPZ is for Genetic Class B (natural stand) or Genetic Class A (orchard/parent tree) and tree species.
An archive of 2D regional seismic and long period magnetotelluric data collected during 20 years of work under the LITHOPROBE project. Data are primarily onshore and cover widespread regions of Canada. Available data types include raw digital data, processed sections, and images of final sections, as well as auxiliary information required for analysis of the data.
The Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) Incremental Federal Rebate for Municipalities Report provides the GST/HST incremental rebate amount paid to incorporated, determined, and designated municipalities, as defined in the Excise Tax Act, as follows:
- incorporated municipal bodies, such as cities, towns, villages, and metropolitan authorities;
- entities determined by the Minister of National Revenue to be a municipality, such as transit commissions and public libraries; and
- entities designated by the Minister of National Revenue, in relation to their delivery of municipal services, such as some non-profit social housing corporations or co-operatives.
There are 21 ministry-funded Children's Treatment Centres across Ontario. These centres provide rehabilitation services to children and youth with moderate or severe disabilities and other special needs. This mapping data represents the service area boundaries of the 21 centres.
