• Canada is committed to continue the a collaborative process with key Indigenous partners on this initiative and to moving forward in the spirit of cooperation and reconciliation.
• The spirit and intent of the Indigenous Peoples Space has always been that it must remain First Nations, Inuit and Métis led and we will continue to work with our partners on any decisions made around the space.
• We remain committed to the Indigenous Peoples Space initiative.

• Over the past year, we have worked closely with Indigenous partners on a plan for an Indigenous Peoples Space that will work for all partners.
• Sometimes, when working closely with a number of partners, there remain issues that need to be resolved before a final agreement can be reached to the satisfaction of all parties.
• We remain committed to taking the time needed to create an Indigenous Peoples Space and to moving forward together with Indigenous partners.
