Accomplishments: Crown Indigenous Relations Canada (104 words)
• Since 2015, we have made progress in supporting Indigenous self-determination and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples.
• We have made historic investments to advance priorities of Indigenous Peoples, including housing, infrastructure, clean drinking water, education, righting historical wrongs and passing key legislation to implement UNDRIP, on Indigenous languages, and affirming Indigenous jurisdiction over child welfare.
• CIRNAC continues to collaborate with Indigenous partners through the Permanent Bilateral Mechanism process and Recognition of Indigenous Rights and Self-Determination discussion tables, taken steps to address the Calls to Action, as well as work with Survivors and their families in developing the MMIWG National Action Plan and Federal Pathway.
