Suggested Response:
• The federal government will work collaboratively with Indigenous communities to advance the Canadian economy in a manner that promotes reconciliation.
• No matter what process is used to approve major resource and infrastructure projects, the federal government will continue to meet the legal duty to consult through meaningful consultation and accommodate potential impacts to rights as required.
• I am of the view that the best way to develop major projects is by working with Indigenous Peoples in a way that promotes partnerships and economic self-determination.
