Suggested Response:
• The Government’s overarching goal is to build the strongest economy in the G7. That starts with creating one, united, Canadian economy from thirteen.
• We are working closely with provinces, territories, and Indigenous Peoples to identify and catalyze projects of national significance.
• This includes a meaningful role for Indigenous people in the approval of major projects, characterized by early engagement, consultation, and meaningful participation throughout the process. This will contribute to a more efficient review process, and deliver economic benefits for all Canadians, including Indigenous Peoples.
