•The Courts have determined that Timber Bay could not be added to the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement.

•As directed by the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal, plaintiffs’ counsel has filed an amended Statement of Claim to seek compensation for survivors.
•Canada is open to engaging in collaborative discussions with the Province of Saskatchewan, survivors and their counsel on options to move this matter forward.
