• We are pleased to present CIRNAC’s Departmental Results Report for 2023–24.
• CIRNAC continued to advance the unique priorities of Indigenous Peoples and Northerners, and to support the political, economic and social development of the North.
• We also continued to address the ongoing challenges faced by the North, including food security, infrastructure development, and climate change.

• In 2023–24, CIRNAC celebrated the historic signing of the Nunavut Lands and Resources Devolution Agreement.
• We provided territorial governments with $75 million dollars to address critical housing needs in the North, enabling the delivery of 109 new public housing units and 22 modular housing units to communities.
• We supported 67 clean energy projects across the North, contributing to an estimated reduction of 1,000,000 litres of diesel.
• CIRNAC also supported the remediation of over 160 northern contaminated sites, including the 8 largest abandoned mines.
