• The Government of Canada, Government of Yukon, and Council of Yukon First Nations have worked together on a targeted amendment to create efficiencies while upholding Yukon First Nation rights.

• The amendment would exempt extensions or minor changes to projects from requiring a new assessment where there is no significant change and all potentially affected Yukon First Nations have provided written consent.

• This work is an example of how we can build a strong and a united Canada by advancing actions for regulatory efficiency in partnership.
