One Canadian Economy
Suggested Response:
• The Government recognizes that a united Canada deserves one economy, not thirteen.
• Major projects in the territories, including those tied to critical minerals and dual-use infrastructure, hold transformative potential while facilitating business opportunities across Canada.
• The Government will work to accelerate a greater number of Northern major projects with increased Indigenous and Northern participation, while respecting modern treaties.
• In parallel, we will continue to invest in the growth of Northern entrepreneurial ecosystems so that more businesses can participate in internal trade and contribute to the national economy.
