• As a Pacific nation, and given the increasing importance of the Indo-Pacific to Canadian security and prosperity, Canada is committed to being a reliable partner in the region.
• Canada is supportive of mechanisms that work towards the goal of a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific region that support Canada's priority of a rules based international order.
