• Mr. Speaker, I rise today to express Canada's deepest condolences to all those grieving in Thailand.
• Earlier today, in the northeastern province of Nong Bua Lamphu, there was a mass shooting at a daycare centre, killing at least 38 people with most victims being young children.
• Canada stands with our Thai friends as they grapple with the consequences of this horrific violence. We join in the grief and heartbreak over the senseless loss of so many young lives.
• Sadly, no country is immune from horrific gun violence, which is made so much worse when so many of the victims are children.
