• We are proposing amendments to the Tobacco and Vaping Products Act to enhance the sharing of information related to tobacco and vaping products across the federal government.
• These amendments will support the administration and enforcement of the Tobacco and Vaping Products Act, including our commitment to implement a tobacco cost recovery framework if Bill C-59 is adopted.
• Health Canada will work with relevant federal departments and agencies to develop standard procedures and policies, including for the protection of information, prior to sharing of any information.
