Suggested Response:

• Our Government is providing $112 million to support a safe return to First Nations schools on reserve, in addition to the $2 billion that is being provided to the provinces and territories.

• This investment will provide First Nations with the flexibility to make decisions on re-opening based on what they feel is the safest option for their students.

• We are currently working with First Nation communities and education authorities to amend funding agreements to ensure funding can flow to recipients as soon as possible.
